How It Works
The H-2B visa program offers a valuable opportunity for individuals from abroad to work in the United States for up to nine months at a single company. These workers, holding H-2B work visas, typically fill roles requiring unskilled labor, such as construction workers, assembly line workers, housekeepers, cashiers, dining room attendants, kitchen helpers, landscapers, and more. Many seasonal workers, including those on visas for Mexican workers, come to the United States pre-screened by Department of State and approved by the U.S. Government.

Employers in industries requiring unskilled labor must compensate seasonal workers according to the prevailing wage rate for similar full-time positions. It’s essential that your organization is easily accessible by public transportation or company's transportation, as many workers rely on it for commuting.
Seasonal Work Program Process
